Qualifications
2+ years of related experience in an automotive parts management position preferred but will train the right candidate
2 years of automotive parts sales experience required
3 years of experience as a service manager required
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Responsibilities
Lead the service and parts departments, retail, and wholesale customers.
Handle the parts inventory and track all expenses.
Forecast goals and objectives for the parts and service departments and strive to meet/exceed them.
Hire, train, motivate, counsel, and monitor the performance of all parts and service department staff.
Ensure that incoming inventory is stocked in the correct location.
Maintain a stabilized inventory consistent with the requirements of the defined areas.
Assist customers in servicing, repairing, and explaining each service needed and keep them informed and updated throughout the service of their vehicle.
Maintain a high Customer Service Index (CSI) rating by handling customer complaints immediately and appropriately.
