About The Role

As the Partner Manager of Legal Services, you will champion Scorpion’s relationships with its partners, both new and existing, and guarantee that the experience matches the level we provide our clients.

As a representative of the Scorpion brand, you will advocate for and capitalize on key partnerships that align with our direction and will help achieve growth goals. With every new partnership you approach, you will also be responsible for assessing the fit to Scorpion. These partners will include the highest-priority case management softwares, lead intake systems, associations, and other companies that work with law firms and would benefit from Scorpion’s platform and marketing services. As one of the first touchpoints, you are held to a standard of excellence—in communication, relationship building, and business acumen. You are a natural networker with flawless communication skills and can negotiate and influence to showcase Scorpion as an unrivaled partner. A vital part of your role is to facilitate constant communication with partners, cultivating a relationship of transparency and trust to achieve goals together.

You will partner with the SVP of Strategic Partnerships in addition to the Sales, Corporate Marketing, Account Management, Product, and Finance teams to ensure our partners and their customers have an experience with our products and services that exceeds their expectations and drives revenue.

What your success will look like

  • Support the SVP of Strategic Partnerships in assessing strategic partnership opportunities and the scope of work to deliver on potential partnerships for the Legal vertical.
  • Act as the project manager by developing and managing the plan of execution to deliver on key initiatives for partnerships.
  • Cultivate relationships and trust with Partners, working closely with their team to drive measurable results.
  • Partner internally with Corporate Marketing to develop content, white papers, landing pages, etc., which are necessary for partner enablement.
  • Train, enable, and support Legal sales & account team members to ensure we maximize value in our relationships with partners and their customers, referrals, etc.
  • Ensure accurate tracking is in place to report partner performance and revenue.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the Legal industry.
  • Use the various Scorpion training tools to grow your knowledge of our products and services continuously.
  • Contribute to the professional growth of your Scorpion team members.
  • Create meaningful business relationships with our Partners and your Scorpion colleagues.

Who You Are And What You Bring

  • 4+ years in B2B large account or partner management
  • Proven experience of 2-3 years in partnership development (managing referral, product, or channel partnerships) within the home service industry
  • Experience managing the partner relationship and outcome delivery
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and multiple stakeholders simultaneously
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive partnership decisions
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Track record of exceeding goals and expectations
  • Familiarity with CRM software and partnership management tools
  • Experience in creating and executing partnership marketing campaigns
  • Understanding of legal aspects related to partnership agreements.

Compensation

We acknowledge that states have passed legislation promoting pay transparency. As a national employer, Scorpion has made the decision to post our expected pay rate or pay range (as applicable) in all our job postings, regardless of geographic location.

  • The base salary is $90,000 (entry-level) - 110,000 (highly experienced). This position's base salary + annual variable is $108,000 (entry-level) - $132,000 (highly experienced), exclusive of fringe benefits. If you are hired at Scorpion, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. Additionally, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the total salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary bonuses or commissions.
