GTM Partner Manager

What You’ll Do

In this newly created role, you will be a highly visible individual contributor, playing a key role in scaling the Partnership team and our new Ecosystem-Led Growth (ELG) partner programs. You will work on projects that range from novel go-to-market (GTM) strategy to the detailed operations of partner management.

You will do this in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment, working with our sales, account management, and customer success teams to inform projects and ensure alignment and understanding. You’ll be responsible for providing new partner assessments, onboarding partners, and performing referral and partner relationship management, with the primary outcome of helping us and our reliably achieve revenue and customer satisfaction goals. You’ll operate with a high degree of autonomy.

This position reports to the Director, Strategic Alliances.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Arena’s partners
  • Nurture the partner relationships and provide expert guidance that will help them develop customer growth, help fine-tune Arena market strategy, and secure consistent revenue growth
  • Define and drive cross-functional strategic projects focused on improving our go-to-market (GTM) partner engine
  • Apply business insights and employ a diverse toolkit of rigorous analytical approaches to identify areas of opportunity, size potential impact, forecasting, and measure success of partner efforts through goal setting, and monitoring of key metrics to understand trends
  • Support partner leadership with owning business activities such as forecasting, M/QBR preparation, competitive analysis, annual operational planning, etc.
  • Provide internal team enablement on all things related to partnerships
  • Engage with marketing to message on the Arena partner ecosystem, creating compelling stories and competitive advantage


You are

  • An excellent communicator with mad presentation skills and the ability to present complex data analysis, insights, and recommendations to any size audience, internally or externally
  • Comfortable working closely with senior sales and business development leaders in a high-growth work environment
  • Comfortable with loosely defined requirements where you exercise your analytical skills to collaborate with the rest of the cross functional teams to build solutions
  • Knowledgeable about the enterprise SaaS sales motion and how to make both our team and partners successful with this motion
  • A go-to-market whiz, passionate about onboarding, education, and enablement activities
  • Comfortable working with globally dispersed and diverse teams
  • Intellectually curious and resourceful


Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of SaaS / cloud industry experience in partnerships, alliances, program management, and/or sales
  • Demonstratable knowledge of PLM and/or QMS services, products, and practices, and general market trends
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 15% of the time


PTC carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, which may include the background and experience of all applicants, which can cause your compensation to vary. PTC anticipates the salary range for this position to be between 120,000-140,000. The actual pay may be lower or higher depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary bonuses. Also, every PTC employee also has the opportunity to become a PTC shareholder, both through its stock grant programs or its employee share purchase program which allows employees to purchase PTC stock at a discount.
