WRAL-TV is looking for a Broadcast Technician to join our award-winning team. This person will perform news production duties including audio board operations, audio set up, studio set-up, and other video production associated duties. The right candidate must be able to follow instructions of the producer/director to operate camera as necessary to obtain desired shots and audio mixes; suggest desirable shots to producer/director.

This person will perform news production duties including audio board operations, audio set up, studio set-up, and other video production associated duties. The right candidate must be able to follow instructions of the producer/director to operate camera as necessary to obtain desired shots and audio mixes; suggest desirable shots to producer/director.
Responsibilities
- Perform audio board operations and audio set up.
- Assist in the set-up and tear-down of equipment.
- Operate Studio Cameras.
- You may be asked to operate our vest managed Steadicam.
- Operate teleprompter system as needed.
- Assist in lighting; studio lighting experience using light meter necessary.
- Sweep, clean, and pick up trash from studio scene, and work areas as required.
- The individual must have good written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to follow instructions of the producer/director.
- Be able to work first, second, and third shift as needed.
- Have good, quick decision-making abilities.
- Must be able to lift, carry, and move with a minimum of 40lbs in many environments including outdoors and in extreme weather conditions.
