JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Office of Intercollegiate Athletics at Penn State Harrisburg is accepting applications for Sports Camp Counselors. Counselors are responsible for the supervision, safety and instruction of minors participating in summer sports camps (Baseball, Girls’ Basketball, Field Hockey, Boys’ Soccer, Girls’ Soccer, Softball, Boys’ & Girls’ Tennis, Girls’ Volleyball). Supervision may extend from the athletic venue, to the housing and commons areas and any other areas on campus throughout the duration of the camp.
Requirements And Qualifications
CAMPUS SECURITY CRIME STATISTICS:
Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters. The ASR is available for review here.
Employment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies.

- May require the ability to work in an outdoor environment in adverse weather conditions including extreme heat and cold.
- Employment with the University for this job will require successful completion of the Pennsylvania (PA) Publicly Available Clearances: PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check, and the FBI Criminal History Background Check.
