We are currently seeking a Part-Time PRISM Training Specialist to support our Federal Customer in Washington, DC. Deliver virtual in-person PRISM acquisitions training to end users with classes up to 15 people. Classes are quarterly with brown bag learning sessions throughout the year. Create Quick Reference Guides (QRG) and edit training materials for PRISM class. Work closely with the client and key stakeholders to understand their business process and tailor the training to support their mission. Help the client understand how new updates will affect their business process in the system. Requires strong communication and good customer service skills.


Security Clearance:


The ability to obtain and maintain a Government Public Trust clearance is required.


Responsibilities:


·       Develop training materials, including user manuals, job aids, and training modules, to support the effective use of PRISM.

·       Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions to end-users, both in-person and virtually, covering various PRISM functionalities and modules.

·       Customize training programs based on the specific needs of different user groups, tailoring content to address their roles, responsibilities, and skill levels.

·       Conduct training needs assessments to identify gaps and recommend appropriate training interventions to enhance user proficiency and system utilization.

·       Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to stay updated with PRISM system updates, enhancements, and best practices.

·       Provide one-on-one coaching and support to end-users, addressing their questions, concerns, and challenges related to PRISM.

·       Develop and maintain a training schedule, coordinating sessions with end-users and ensuring timely delivery of training programs.

·       Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback surveys, and user performance metrics.

·       Stay current with industry trends and emerging training methodologies, continuously enhancing training materials and delivery techniques.

·       Collaborate with the PRISM implementation team and project managers to ensure seamless integration of training activities with system rollout and upgrades.


Required Technical and Professional Skills/Experience:


·       Proven experience as a Trainer, preferably with expertise in delivering PRISM training.

·       In-depth knowledge of PRISM modules, workflows, forms, and reports, coupled with a strong understanding of system navigation and functionalities.

·       Mid-level subject matter expertise in COTS Training Specialist software as a service, such as Unison PRISM COTS.

·       Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to effectively deliver training to individuals and groups of various sizes.

·       Experience in developing and customizing training materials, including user manuals, job aids, and training modules.

·       Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with end-users and provide ongoing support and guidance.

·       Ability to assess training needs, identify gaps, and design appropriate training interventions.

·       Proficiency in using training tools and technologies, such as learning management systems (LMS), virtual training platforms, and multimedia content creation tools.

·       Patient and adaptable, with the ability to work well under pressure and adjust training delivery based on the learning pace and needs of participants.

·       Ability to learn quickly and to creatively solve new problems.

·       Ability to negotiate and settle differences quickly and peacefully.

·       Ability to act as a team player. 


Education:


Bachelor’s Degree and/or Relevant Experience
