We are looking for a part time Operations Associate for a top beauty company in New York City.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with 3PL and CFO to streamline inventory processes for all order types, and ensure supply chain and inventory best practices are being maintained
Own inventory receipts and orders with the brand’s 3PL
Maintain consistent, precise reports that monitor FC time to receive and receiving accuracy
Leverage inventory data to pinpoint warehouse-related issues impacting customers, offering support to operational teams in resolving underlying causes
Promoting excellent customer experience across all channels
Manage customer service by responding to inquiries via phone, email, live chat and social media in a timely manner. Ensuring all customer communication is logged in appropriate systems
Manage all wholesale order entry and ensuring orders are shipped to the retailer
Invoicing all wholesale orders and following up on payments
Influencer and retailer gifting
Understanding beauty and having an excellent grasp on the brand's product knowledge
Foster a customer-centric culture in keeping with our brand image
Communicate any tech issues, related to the website or affiliated programs, that are identified through customer service channels to the Ecommerce lead
Required Qualifications:
2+ years experience in the professional wholesale space / operations space
Having a basic understanding of the pick/pack/ship process, EDI and ERP
Excellent organization skills, detail orientation, and time management
Ability to manage complex projects from idea to execution
Impeccable people skills and the ability to communicate with anyone with grace and hospitality
Strong listening skills and the ability to carry a conversation without sharing too much information in regards to the company or personal relations
Ability to solve problems quickly and confidently
Demonstrate strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Strategic thinker
Technically savvy including experience in G-Suite, Slack, and project management tools
High level of trustworthiness and integrity
Extremely professional with a non-biased mindset
Proactive thinker and executer
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet competing deadlines
Has a “no task to small” attitude
A consistent and open communicator; not afraid to ask questions
