Requirements

• Must be available to work Tuesday through Friday 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm and Saturday's from
• 6:45 am through 4:30pm.
• Excellent attendance, consistent with our attendance policy.
• Basic math, computer, and calculator skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in time management, prioritization skills and multitasking with the ability to work independently.
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
• Clear verbal and written communication abilities.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, goal-driven and trustworthy.
• Strict adherence to company dress code policies as stated in the company handbook for customer facing employees which also includes no visible tattoos, facial piercings, or unconventional hair colors.
• Previous automotive cashiering experience is advantageous.
• $17.00 - $18.00 per hr. DOE
  
  

Responsibilities

• Greet customers courteously, professionally and in a welcoming manner at the cashier window and throughout the dealership.
• Utilize dealership's computer system to calculate customer bills accurately.
• Accept cash and credit card payments from customers and record received amounts on repair orders and counter tickets.
• Provide correct change and issue receipts promptly.
• Record totals of counter tickets and repair orders, cross-verify against all cash and credit card payments at the end of shift.
• Verify parts and service invoices against batch posting report; reconcile any discrepancies. This process includes being able to work within a basic Excel Worksheet and various other user friendly software programs.
• Process and close internal, warranty, customer pay repair orders and counter ticket transactions daily.
• Guide customers to the appropriate department and ensure timely follow-up.
• Handle customer complaints calmly and professionally; escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate Management personnel.
• Strict adherence to all company safety policies and procedures.
