We are looking for an experienced HR Director to provide a broad range of human resource services in support of the firm’s business objectives, strategic goals and human resource initiatives. We need a polished professional who understands and embraces confidentiality, loyalty, our culture, and respects the dignity of the individual.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the daily workflow of the department, including but not limited to conducting orientation sessions, updating employee records, payroll and benefit data.

Coordinates the annual open enrollment process.

Responsible for managing the recruitment and selection process with the CEO.

Acts as an internal consultant to senior management team by assisting with the resolution of employee relations, compensation and benefit questions, concerns and issues.

Provides information and confidential counseling to employees as needed.

Ensures compliance of laws, regulations and best practices in employment law, human resources and talent management.

Assists in the development and implementation of compensation, benefits, performance reviews and employee incentive programs.

Collaborates with senior management to interpret policies, programs and procedures.

Interfaces with legal counsel as necessary.

Responsibilities may evolve and change as the business necessitates.

Works with the agency’s SVP of Talent Management and the President & COO and Reports to the Chairman & CEO.

Will also work with CFO on payroll and benefit processes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree, with a focus in human resources required. Previous experience in a professional services firm preferred.

PHR and/or SHRM -CP preferred.

At least five years of human resource management experience required, with demonstrated strategic, talent management, employee relations and regulatory compliance knowledge.

Efficient HR administration/people management skills.

Payroll experience a plus.

The position requires candidate to work three days a week. This includes in the office two days a week, always on Wednesday, and either Tuesday or Thursday. One additional day could be in the office or work remotely – your choice. Also, should be available for immediate or emergency situations.
