The School of STEM department of Mathemathics at Vermont State University invites applications for a Part-Time teaching position for Fall 2024 (August 26, 2024-December 20, 2024).

The course to be taught is MAT-1440 Math for the Health Sciences

This course presents basic concepts needed for success in the applied health sciences. Topics include basic arithmetic; percentages; ratio and proportion; geometry; unit conversions; dosage and concentration applications; dilution and infusion rates; basic graphing techniques; and basic algebra.

Minimum Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a Maters degree or better in Mathematics or equivalent experience in the field. Teaching experience at the college level is preferable.

Salary

Based on credits previously taught per VSC-VSCPTF Bargaining Unit Agreement.
