The Department Of Mathematics And Science At Pratt (Brooklyn Campus), Seeks Part-time Faculty Applicants For The Spring 2023 Semester (and Beyond) To Teach One Or More Of The Following Courses

MSCI-110, Introduction to Physics & Chemistry

  • Section 01 meets Tuesdays 14:00 – 16:50 (Brooklyn Campus)
  • Section 05 meets Tuesdays 17:00 – 19:50 (Brooklyn Campus)

MSCI-280, Environmental Science for Construction Management Majors (Manhattan)

  • Section 01 meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 15:00 – 17:50

All of these course sections meet for 15 sessions, starting January 16th and ending May 7th (please see Pratt’s Spring 2024 academic calendar for details).

Our courses contribute to Pratt’s General Education program in support of our diverse creative majors. Following a studio schedule (one three-hour meeting per week), we maintain small class sizes (ranging from 15 to 22 students).

Salary is commensurable with qualifications and experience. $1,924-2,233 per contact hour.

Graduate degree in a relevant science field is preferred, but strong candidates who have not yet earned a graduate degree are also encouraged to apply. We value teaching experience from both traditional and non-traditional instructional settings.
