Summary

Job Description:

The Part-Time Event Data Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of collecting and tracking data on CTRL’s programs and events. In consultation with the Associate Director of Programs and Events and the Program and Event Coordinator, the position creates, updates, and tests CTRL’s SharePoint-based event registration and attendance database; manages attendance tracking and creates data dashboards of the attendance patterns at all of our programs; as well as creates, disseminates, and summarizes feedback surveys and evaluations of all CTRL events.

CTRL hosts three big conferences and up to 50 additional events per year, and the Event Data Coordinator creates, updates, and tests all SharePoint- and Qualtrics-based event registration systems, as well as consolidates registrations into our customer relations database on SharePoint. With the goal of tracking all attendance points at our events, the Event Data Coordinator manages systems for recording and transferring attendance records into the customer relations database, as well as creates, disseminates, and summarizes feedback surveys and evaluations for all events. Concluding each academic year, the Event Data Coordinator coordinates the collection of data and other information from CTRL staff, and designs and summarizes this information into CTRL’s Annual Report.

Position Type/Expected Hours Of Work

  • The position is a part-year, 30-week position at 20 hours per week during the fall and spring semesters, with optional hourly work during spring, summer, and winter breaks (with the exception of the two weeks prior to the beginning of the fall semester, the week prior to the beginning of the spring semester, and the week following the end of the spring semester, when work is required due to major events).

Salary Range

  • $17.50-$18 per hour.

Required Education And Experience

  • MA/MFA candidate or degree holder or Ph.D. candidate
  • The individual filling this position must be creative, results oriented, excel in customer service, and have strong administrative skills.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel is required.

Preferred Education And Experience

  • Familiarity with SharePoint and related software (Microsoft InfoPath and SharePoint Designer), as well as the survey software Qualtrics is preferred, but can be acquired in the job.
  • Experience with database management.
