PART-TIME BOOKKEEPER/FINANCIAL CONTROLLER

Vibrant & highly respected boutique consulting firm seeking a PART-TIME Bookkeeper/Financial Controller. This is a mostly remote role, approximately 20-25 hours/week with occasional visits to office headquarters, located in the Loop. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee A/P, A/R, assist with invoices, collections, financial reporting, reimbursement, and other banking related items.
• Pay and track bills in spreadsheet.
• Help to find ways to improve accounting and bookkeeping processes.
• Handle fundamental bookkeeping duties with meticulous attention to detail.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years financial/accounting experience
• Ability to commit to a part time position, estimating 20-24 hours a week.
• Strong attention to detail and confidence.
• Comfortable working in a small company, helping as needed, and quickly adapting to changes.
• General accounting knowledge with general ledger and Accounts Payable/Receivable exposure.
• Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office applications.

COMPENSATION:

$40-50+/hour based on experience
