We are a member-based nonprofit veterans’ organization dedicated to supporting our nation's heroes, their families, and our community. We run a Canteen (Bar), which allows us to pay the bills while we pursue our philanthropical goals.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and work efficiently in a busy setting both solo and as a team.
2-3 shifts/week (shifts start at 1pm). Days are flexible and negotiable.
You must qualify for membership to be eligible for employment. If qualified, we will pay your first year’s dues (unless already a member) if you accept a position with us
To qualify: Either Yourself, your spouse, a parent, grandparent, or your child must have (1) served at least one day in the military; (2) the qualifying veteran must be Either on active duty OR must have received an honorable discharge; and (3) be able to provide proof of military service.
Requirements:
Proven bartending experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lift 20-25 lbs. and stand for prolonged periods
A smartphone capable of downloading and connecting to our employee social app
Reliable Transportation
Compensation:
$7.98/hour plus tips
