We're looking for dynamic individuals with a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience, and we especially welcome retired art teachers to apply. We are currently seeking teachers for the following locations:
Mamaroneck, NY
Seminole, FL
Jacksonville, FL
Brownsburg, IN
Primary Responsibilities:
· Teach art classes and workshops for children and young adults.
· Teach students various art techniques and mediums, including drawing, painting, and sculpture.
· Foster creativity and self-expression through engaging art actives using a developed, proven curriculum activities.
· Provide constructive feedback to students to enhance their artistic skills.
· Ability to effectively communicate with parents regarding student progress, student performance, classroom conduct, and lesson details.
· Inform and engage new families seeking information about our classes.
Essential Skills:
· Proven experience providing strong mentoring, creative development and instructional skills in art education.
· Experience implementing effective classroom management strategies and techniques to cultivate a creative and productive learning environment.
· Demonstrated proficiency communicating in clearly and proactive with parents, including handling inquiries about makeup lessons, student behavior management, and providing information to new families seeking class details.
· Proficiency with diverse learning approaches and art education tools.
· Practice and knowledge of art styles, movements, and various mediums to inspire student creativity.
· Excellent ability to review, critique, and provide feedback to help young students learn, grow, and perfect their skills while encouraging their creativity.
· Ability to provide insight and personal experience regarding art-related educational and career paths.
Requirements:
· Art Educator with a minimum of 5 years teaching experience and a degree in Art Education (BFA or BA).
