We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Paramedic to join our team in Norman, OK. As a Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing emergency medical care to patients in a pre-hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to emergency medical calls and provide medical care to patients in accordance with established protocols
Assess the nature and extent of illness or injury, and administer appropriate treatment
Transport patients to medical facilities for further care
Communicate effectively with patients, family members, and other healthcare professionals
Maintain accurate records of patient care and treatment provided
Ensure that equipment and supplies are properly maintained and ready for use at all times
Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Current certification as a Paramedic
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and stressful environment
Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
