Minimum Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent or,
Technical Degree/Certificate Program or,
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Work Experience:
Experience working in a law firm or a government agency or office setting.
Experience reviewing legal or financial documents.
Experience creating letters, notices, and other legal documents.
Experience proof-reading.
Job Duties:
Assisting attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and closings.
Organizing and maintaining legal files and documents.
Conducting legal research and drafting legal documents.
Providing administrative support, such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and maintaining calendars.
Communicating with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in legal matters.
Performing other duties as assigned.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
Organized, professional, and focused.
Detail-oriented.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Misc. Information:
Monday through Friday, 8 am-4 pm or 9 am – 5 pm.
No parking available.
Close proximity to subway and bus transportation.

Overtime may be expected in the future.
Training will be provided, including an established process and a full-time staffer assigned to assist new staff. Training typically takes 1-2 weeks.
