Paralegal/Legal Assistant (1-3 years)

Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani has an excellent opportunity for a full-time Paralegal/Legal Assistant, working in the NH area and supporting our NH/ VT/ME offices, with the opportunity for remote or hybrid work. The Paralegal/Legal Assistant works under the direction of the Office Managing Partners, Practice Group Leader and/or Partners in preparing matters for hearing, trial, arbitration or mediation.

Responsibilities include support to Attorneys and various Practice Groups, creating exhibits, preparing pro forma pleadings and motions, document review and summary, organizing/filing electronic documents with the Courts (State and Federal e-filing experience preferred), docket/calendar and other tasks/projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of law firm experience required.
• Familiarity with NH and VT State and Federal e-filing experience is required. Familiarity with filing procedure in ME and other jurisdictions is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent communication skills.
• Solid knowledge of litigation support and case management.
• Ability to work independently and willing to help others as needed.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Knowledge of iManage and ChromeRiver is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• College degree preferred, but not required.
  
  

Salary Range - $40,000 - $45,000
