Our Partner is seeking an enthusiastic and diligent Entry Level Paralegal for a short-term project. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals seeking to gain hands-on experience and further their paralegal skills.
The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive research on various corporate structures and hierarchies. This critical project aims to clean up data, ensuring accuracy, and coherence across our datasets. Will receive training and instruction from attorney and collaborate with a cross-function team.
Responsibilities
Conduct detailed research on various corporate structures and hierarchies
Analyze, interpret, and organize research data
Assist in data cleaning and maintenance activities
Collaborate with the team to ensure data accuracy and consistency
Prepare reports summarizing research and findings
Comply with all legal standards and regulations
Qualifications
Associate's degree or its equivalent and 0-2 years of experience in the field
Prior experience in legal research is preferred but not necessary
Familiarity with American and Canadian governmental systems
Familiarity with shareholders structure and basic corporate law
Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to handle large volumes of data
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in MS Office Suite and familiar with data management software.
Pay Rate: $28/h (depending on skills and experience) under a W-2 contract.
