Role Summary:
Vaughan & Vaughan is in search of a Paralegal in their Carmel, Indiana location. In this role, you'll become an integral part of the team, playing a vital role in medical record and document review, summarization of records, and contributing to various litigation projects. You will also have the opportunity to work alongside the leaders of the Firm carrying out key functions that will be critical to the long-term success of both the Attorney’s and the business.
What you will get to do:
Work end to end on personal injury cases alongside the Attorney
Conduct a substantial amount of medical record and document review
Summarize records effectively to support legal processes
Collaborate on additional litigation projects
Oversee some Firm administration duties as needed
What will make you successful:
Minimum of 7 years of experience as a paralegal
5+ years’ experience with personal injury law
Excellent research and analytical skills
Strong organization and attention to detail
Effective interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills
Desire to care and serve clients
Strong sense of humility and desire to help
Previous work experience or education in business administration, data management, or legal assistance
Nursing degree is a plus, but not required
