Job Summary

Provation is seeking candidates for its Corporate Paralegal position. The Corporate Paralegal will work on corporate business law matters under the supervision of the General Counsel, support the contracts team, and work on additional matters as required.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage the contract lifecycle management software and provide support to the contracts administration team.
  • Organize and manage electronic files
  • Assist with litigation related tasks, including any ongoing litigation, mediation, arbitration and responses to complaints
  • Draft various legal documents, including sales contracts, NDAs, and Business Associate Agreements
  • Assist with contract review and negotiation
  • Assist with contract review to ensure contract compliance by customers and vendors
  • Draft, file and manage various business entity documents for our corporation entities
  • Create reports, charts, and spreadsheets as requested
  • Develop and maintain relationships to facilitate a productive and effective work environment
  • Provide legal support to cross-functional groups across the organization
  • Monitor legal changes by staying informed about legal changes and providing updates to team
  • Other duties and projects as assigned

Job Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Minimum of 2-3 years demonstrated experience as a paralegal, or equivalent within a legal department.
  • Undergraduate degree and/or paralegal certificate.
  • Ability to exercise good business judgement based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem solving, and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to self-start and self-direct work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to prioritize and work simultaneously on multiple projects, strong attention to detail, and ability to organize large volumes of data.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, applications (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) systems.
  • Adaptability necessary to work effectively in a dynamic and complex environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, professionalism, discretion and collegiality.
  • Ability to explain difficult and sensitive information to peers and leaders.
  • Unquestioned integrity and excellent judgment.
  • Organizational agility; able to work effectively across functions (including Finance, HR, Operations, and Commercial) and organizational hierarchy.

The salary range for this position (inclusive of sales incentives/commission) is $45,700.00 - $84,800. Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location. The Total Rewards package includes competitive base pay and an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and several programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work.
