Job Description: Labor and Employment Paralegal (Temp)

Location: Fully Remote (Must reside in one of the following states: Washington, California, and/or Oregon)

Assignment Length: Minimum 6 months, potential for longer

Hourly Rate: Up to $45/hour

LHH is seeking a skilled Labor and Employment Paralegal to join our client's team on a fully remote basis. This role involves providing critical support in handling labor and employment matters, including reviewing employee issues and complaints, conducting legal research, and assisting in case management. The ideal candidate will have a background in litigation or employment law, strong technical skills, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, virtual environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting attorneys in reviewing and analyzing employee complaints and legal issues.
• Conducting legal research and drafting legal documents such as briefs, pleadings, and correspondence.
• Managing and organizing case files and documents.
• Utilizing technology platforms to support case management and document review.
• Collaborating effectively with legal and HR teams to ensure compliance and resolution.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on labor and employment law preferred.
• Strong technology proficiency; ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
• Experience with litigation support and employment law on the employer side is a plus.
• Resides on the West Coast
• Pacific Standard Time zone preferred.
