Overview

Stryten Energy is hiring for the Salina team! New employee orientations on a weekly basis. Orders are up and we need additional team members to meet our customer demands!

The starting pay rate - $20.06 per hour

Shift

• C Shift: Thurs-Sat, every other Wed; 5:25am to 6:00pm

Responsibilities

• Repair Pallets by replacing deck boards.
• Receive directions from supervisor and lead man.
• Unload pallet shipments arriving at plant, check materials versus paperwork.
• Store materials and product in assigned area.
• Move materials from or into specified area.
• Operate fork truck in safe manner. Refill fork truck propane bottles as necessary.
• Prepare pallets for loading, load pallets for shipment.
• Assist shipper with paperwork.
• Comply with health and safety policies and regulations for the protection of self and co-workers.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area at all times.
• Comply with current Quality Systems requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
  
  

Qualifications

Physical Requirements:

• Repetitious lifting of 30-40 pounds. Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
• May be exposed to extreme environmental conditions.
• Repetitious usage of a hammer and nail gun.
  
  

Equipment Used

• Lift truck, small hand tools, air compressor, nail gun, bander, clipboard, pen/pencil, RF, and 2-way radio
  
  

Education, Experience, Skills Required

• Operation of Powered Industrial Equipment such as forklift.
• Track how many pallets have been repaired.
• Ability to read, write, and understand simple English.
