Packer- 1st shift 7a-3p

We are on a mission to grow Second Nature Brands 4x from $250MM to $1+B in the next 4 years through a combination of organic growth (increased distribution, e-commerce, and innovation) and through M&A. We have an opening for a Packer position, who will be an important member of the supply chain team during this growth.

As a Packer production team member, you will pack our famous products in various packaging. This is an entry-level position that does not require any experience. To be successful, you must have the ability to stay at pace with the line and perform repetitive tasks.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities Include

• Pack our famous products in various packaging
• Ensure code date is properly placed and legible
• Check for any compromises to packaging
• Ensure each box have correct number of packaging
• Maintain clean and safe work area
• Follow all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), Q&FS (Quality & Food Safety), and OSHA Safety policies
• Maintain clean and safe work area
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned
  
  

Qualifications

• Be 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma/GED;
• Ability to work well with peers and supervisors;
• English proficient
• Must have a positive attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work safely around/with automated and semi-automated machinery
• Previous manufacturing experience (required)
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Standing for 8-10 hours;
• Walking up and down stairs;
• Lifting up to 50 lbs frequently;
• Working in slightly elevated temperatures;
• Wearing proper personal protective equipment (PPE) provided by company.
  
  

Mornings 7am to 3pm shift. Monday through Friday. Qualified candidates must be willing and able to work daily overtime as well as weekends as needed.

The starting pay rate is $14.50 per hour.

Trail Mix Packer– Morning shift

Kar’s Nuts – Madison Heights, MI

We are located at 1200 E. 14 Mile Rd, Madison Heights, MI 48071.

We have positions on the morning shift 7am to 3pm shift. Monday through Friday. Qualified candidates must be willing and able to work daily overtime as well as weekends as needed.

The starting pay rate is $14.50 per hour
