Packaging Supervisor

We are the worlds largest refiner and marketer of cane sugar, with an annual production capacity of more that 6 mil tons of sugar. The company produces a full line of grocery, industrial, food services and specialty sweetener products.

We are looking for a talented Packaging Supervisor to direct sugar production operations on shift. You will direct teams of specialized union employees ensuring GMP and safe operating procedures. Meet or exceed production targets, quality standards, maintain and regulatory compliance through the supervision of hourly personnel on rotating shifts.

What You Will Be Doing

• Achieving results through subordinates in a unionized environment.
• Conducting regular shift meeting regarding safety, production, quality and other important information.
• Computing amounts of stock and supplies required for operations, based on production schedules, and material requirement from storage area.
• Develop and maintain good working climate by developing a solid team.
  
  

What You Need

• 3+ years of experience in Food Manufacturing/production supervising union employees.
• Industrial electric background, computer, PLC programing, mechanical troubleshooting, and management supervisory skills.
• Experience with CPG or Food Manufacturing
• Ability to supervise, coach and train employees.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  
  

Pay: $67k - $125k
