Packaging Manager - Manufacturing, Packaging Operations

We are the worlds largest refiner and marketer of cane sugar, with an annual production capacity of more that 6 mil tons of sugar. The company produces a full line of grocery, industrial, food services and specialty sweetener products.

We are looking for a talented Assistant Packaging Manager to effectively plan, coordinate, and manage all of the packaging and bilk operations in a safe, environmentally responsible, quality-focused and financially responsible manner. You will be directly supervising the packaging superintendents and packaging supervisors and indirectly supervising the hourly packaging employees.

What You Will Be Doing

• Review all daily packaging operations with the packaging superintendent with overall efficiency, product requirement and production schedule.
• Develop and implement plans to improve performance, drive improvement and build technical depth and leadership capability.
• Develop and maintain good working climate by developing a solid team.
  
  

What You Need

• 6+ years of packaging operations experience.
• experience in a unionized environment.
• Expirence with CPG or Food Manufacturing
• Ability to lead a large team of 75+ employees.
• Ability to supervise, coach and train employees.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  
  

Pay: $100k - $190k
