Preferable Year Equipment
Truck: 2012 or newer.
Trailers Dryvan/Flatbed/Reefer/Stepdeck: 2009 or newer.
Reefers: 2014 or newer(inspection is required).
Inspection of this equipment is required at our shop.
Responsibilities
Safely operate a variety of trucks and heavy equipment.
Load and unload materials or equipment onto trucks.
Follow specific routes and schedules for efficient delivery of goods.
Perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating vehicles.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
Communicate with dispatchers or supervisors to report any issues or delays in delivery.
Experience
Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience.
Experience operating heavy equipment.
Familiarity with different types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, dry vans, flatbeds, or reefers.
Skills And Qualifications
Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) Class A.
Ability to safely operate heavy equipment and vehicles in various weather conditions.
Strong understanding of route planning and navigation systems.
Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries.
Attention to detail for accurate recordkeeping and reporting.
