Position: Full-Time N.J. Licensed Clinician (LSW or LAC)

Location: Middlesex Borough, NJ

Schedule: 2 remote days and 3 in-person days per week, with evenings required. No weekends or on-call duties.

Language Skills: Spanish-speaking candidates are highly desired.

Key Responsibilities

Therapy and Assessment: Provide short-term, evidence-based therapy to children, adolescents, adults, families, and groups. Assess clients' needs, diagnose psychiatric/behavioral health conditions, and prescribe treatment plans as part of comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments.

Collaboration: Actively participate in treatment team meetings and supervision. Work closely with the psychiatric team (MDs/APNs) and other clinicians to ensure high-quality service for each client.

Service Planning: Recommend appropriate levels of care and link clients to external services as needed. Develop and modify individual service plans using assessment data from standardized instruments.

Community Engagement: Collaborate with community providers, agencies, and schools to support assessment, treatment, service planning, and discharge. Serve as a resource for community services to youth, adults, and families.

Documentation: Maintain all required case documentation according to state, Medicaid, and company standards. Enter clinical notes and other information into the electronic medical record (EMR) system on the same day care is provided. Submit accurate daily billing for services.

Family Involvement: Promote family engagement and use evidence-based practices to guide family therapy modalities. Ensure sessions start and end on time.

Quality Assurance: Take corrective actions based on chart audit findings. Meet or exceed established performance and productivity targets.

Other Duties: Perform other duties as required.

Required Qualifications

Education: Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Psychology.

Licensure: Current New Jersey State License in good standing (LSW or LAC).

Experience: Clinical experience with children, adolescents, adults, and families preferred.

Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to work evenings to accommodate families' schedules. Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.

Physical Requirements

Communication: Ability to communicate orally with clients, management, and co-workers. Regular use of telephone and e-mail for communication.

Hearing and Vision: Normal ranges essential.

Manual Dexterity: Good manual dexterity for using common office equipment.

Lifting: No heavy lifting expected, exertion of up to 10 lbs. occasionally may be required.
