About The Role

The Outlet Cashier is responsible for a knowledge of all tender methods and register/computer functions.

Position Responsibilities

  • Responsible for register bank and all money, charges and comps collected during your shift
  • Knowledge of all methods of checking tendering (cash, comp, coupon, credit cards & gift certificates, etc.)
  • Familiar with the menu items, pricing, hours of operation and current specials with daily operation
  • Communicate with & promote positive co-worker & guest interactions, maintain professionalism at all times while working with other employees, Departments, & guests
  • Maintain established company and Departmental uniform, appearance, and hygiene standards at all times
  • Maintain a clean and organized work station at all times
  • Side work duties must be completed as assigned and also completed in an efficient, accurate, and timely manner

Essential Functions

  • Exposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to secondhand smoke, excessive noise, and stress related to servicing customers in a high pressure and fast paced environment
  • Knowledge of basic arithmetic

Requirements

  • Ability to effectively communicate in English
  • High school diploma or equivalent GED is preferred
  • Minimum of 6 months' experience as a cashier in a related environment
  • Ability to work in a high pressure environment
