Position Qualification

Position Summary

The University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) College of Dentistry invites applications from a diverse background to apply for our full-time, tenure-leading faculty position(s) available immediately to complement and/or expand the College’s current research and academic programs, which can be found at https://www.unmc.edu/dentistry/. The successful candidate is expected to have developed or have potential to develop a strong, externally-fundable research program in a facet of oral health research. Superb opportunities for research collaborations are available with faculty at the College as it expands its research programs and with investigators at UNMC, University of Nebraska -Lincoln (UNL), and throughout the University system. Preference will be given to candidates with a documented record of or immediate potential for external funding. The primary responsibility of the successful candidate(s) is to develop and maintain a funded research program and to support the educational programs of the College through didactic and/or clinical teaching and student mentoring.

Required Qualifications

Qualified applicants will have a terminal doctoral degree. Academic rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications and experience. The College is searching for that (those) unique individual(s) with an interest in building and growing the research enterprise at the College as part of a vibrant University system.
