Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle PL/SQL Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the full life cycle development of Oracle databases, including data modeling, database architecture, SQL and PL/SQL development, unit testing, and ongoing support.

Key Responsibilities

    • Participate in the full life cycle development of Oracle databases.
    • Design and implement data models and database architecture.
    • Develop, test, and maintain complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, views, and materialized views.
    • Create and improve reusable database objects.
    • Utilize PL/SQL programming expertise in data types, cursors, exception handling, collections, merge statements, analytic functions, table functions, and dynamic SQL.
    • Develop software for web-based applications.
    • Create fast, easy-to-use, high-volume production code.
    • Develop prototypes quickly to validate designs.
    • Optimize and tune SQL queries to ensure maximum speed and scalability.
    • Perform performance tuning and optimization for database applications.
    • Work with Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS) and API Gateway Cloud databases.
Required Skills And Expertise

  • Proven experience in Oracle database development and architecture.
  • Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with PL/SQL programming, including:
    • Data Types, Cursors, Exception Handling, Collections
    • Merge statements, Analytics Functions
    • Views, Materialized Views, Table Functions
    • Stored Procedures, Functions, Packages
    • Database Triggers, Dynamic SQL, External Tables
    • Performance Tuning, Object Programming
    • SQL built-in functions, joins, aggregate functions
  • Strong understanding of database performance tuning and optimization.
  • Experience with ORDS and API Gateway Cloud database.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience with high-volume, web-based application development.
