Client requires a candidate that has "Developed Applications " against an Oracle Database and prefers someone with Oracle 19c experience. We are not interested in DBAs , or candidates who do Reports or Data Performance Tuning.

custom PL/SQL scripting

This role will require a candidate to be able to work-on and develop custom Applications connected to an Oracle 19c Database. This Client Does Not use Oracle as an ERP System, so they do not use EBS. They also do not use Informatica as an ETL tool as they prefer to use customized SQL Scripts for that purpose.

Must have Skill Set

• Strong PL/SQL Development Skills
• Proficient in database development utilizing partitions, dbms jobs, packages, procedures, function and Oracle user defined types
• Proficient in working with UI teams/applications and using cursors, XML, JSON etc
• Strong experience in developing end-to-end jobs as part of ETL without use of tools like Informatica
• Strong SQL and PL/SQL tuning skills
• Data analysis skills to debug, trace, and fix performance problems

We need candidates who have current core development work with PL/SQL. EOG will be looking for a candidate who can do the core development on applications and handle packages, procedures , etc. They need to be able to discuss where they have done Custom Development WITHOUT using Informatica.

Preferred Skill Sets

• Familiarity with Oracle Exadata
• Familiarity with SingleStore/ Mysql is a big plus
• Experience with Python, exposure to DB connect libs and others like requests, json, pandas etc
• Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems or Computer Science
• Oil and Gas Industry experience
• Good written and oral communication skills
