Job Description

  • The services will include diagnostic testing procedures. The roles and responsibilities are those typical of a hospital or clinic that provides moderate and high complexity laboratory health care such as occurs in outpatient and inpatient services, to include emergency room services, obstetrical services, behavioral health, surgery, mobile units, and outlying clinics and health stations. Shall specifically carry out the tasks listed below: These tasks will be considered as work direction and be assigned by the Laboratory Supervisor
  • Independently operate moderate to high complexity laboratory equipment.
  • Performs Phlebotomy for Acute Care and Out Patient departments
  • Performs high complexity testing in the field of blood bank and transfusion medicine
  • Performs a variety of routine to moderate or high complexity tests

Requirement

  • MLT or CLS: 2 years (Preferred) with more than 3 years of relevant working experience in a high complexity laboratory setting

License/Certification

  • BLS is required
  • ASCP or (equivalent to) certification
  • CLS or MLT Certification
