Operations Supervisor

To help our clients achieve these goals, we provide a range of evidence-based therapeutic services, including therapy, psychoeducation, dual diagnosis counseling, coping mechanisms, aftercare planning and more, all in a safe and nurturing environment.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Operations Supervisor will supervise, train, evaluate, schedule, and administer responsibilities of all Behavioral Health Technicians of Mountain Springs Recovery. Under the supervision of the Director of Operations, the Overnight Supervisor is responsible for documenting activities, modeling expectations of a Behavioral Health Technician, educate Behavioral Health Technicians of job duties and responsibilities as well as monitor daily responsibilities and improve quality of care.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist Director of Operations in the provision of services to clients.
  • Monitor the needs and behaviors of clients.
  • Continues to learn about alcohol and/or drug abuse and alcoholism and the principles of recovery.
  • Assist with on-site activities, therapeutic support groups, outings and community meetings, as assigned.
  • Schedule outings approved by clinical.
  • Documentation of Behavioral Health Technician shift responsibilities and expectations.
  • Monitor Behavioral Health Technician job duties and responsibilities while on shift.
  • Provide Behavioral Health Technician orientation training.
  • Utilize principles of communicable disease prevention and control.
  • Recognize early signs of illness and the need for professional assistance and follow through & report to the 0Medical and Clinical Director(s).
  • Recognize individuals under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and documents when


needed in an Incident Report.

  • Respond to emergencies and initiates action as required.
  • Discuss significant events involving client’s activities with Treatment Team.
  • Attend and participate in staff meetings and trainings.
  • Understand all state, federal, licensing and accreditation requirements.
  • Be prepared at any time to come in/fill in any void in schedule or help in any eminent


situations.

  • Behavioral Health Technician discipline and documentation
  • Other duties, as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS AND PREFERENCES:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • At least two years of management experience preferred
  • 1 year experience in Healthcare or Customer Service-related field preferred
  • Experience, knowledge or interest in chemical dependency and abuse preferred
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively with diversity
  • Current CPR & First Aid Certification
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
  • Current TB Test
  • Valid Driver License
