THE WORK

This role will support the Marine Controls production programs operating at both the Orlando, FL and La Mesa, Mexico production plants, that support the IWSS line of business. This role will also support the transition of new production work managed out of the Deer Creek, CO facility that is transitioning to the Orlando, FL RMS factory. This role will include CAM responsibility and ownership of all quality, cost, and schedule performance for their assigned programs.

The role also serves as the primary liaison between the program office and Operations to meet our customer requirements, as well as leading the Operations IPT to meet our program commitments. This role will also be part of the respective OET that supports the programs within that OET.

Specific tasks will include

• Setting up manufacturing budgets (both labor and material) and executing earned value requirement
• Supporting proposals
• Conducting new program launches and leading the team
  
  

through end item material delivery

• Coordinating with the IPT to ensure on time deliveries
• Analyzing and updating program schedules
• Working with the IPT to develop production startup requirements
• Supporting execution of existing production lines
• Identifying and coordinating implementation of internal process improvements.
  
  

Who We Are

Our functional group, the Operations Program Management team, is composed of ~30 professionals with a range of skill and experience. Our team serves as CAMs responsible for material budget and operations labor scope. We are leaders in this organization who are the primary interfaces between line of business Program Management, Operations, Engineering, Sourcing, Quality or other company functions for production, development, and capture programs for Production Operations. We ensure seamless support throughout the production process, ensuring successful delivery of contracted projects for our valued customers. Our team is dedicated to ensuring that the TLS factories and their programs operate on schedule and meet commitments. We drive momentum through action, and focus on the small wins while driving towards the overall objectives.
