Overview:

Our client is seeking a talented and motivated Operations & Program Management MBA Intern to join their team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic and passionate group of professionals, contribute to the development of internal systems and processes, and actively participate in client projects that drive positive social change.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the team to design and implement efficient and effective internal operations systems and processes.
  • Lead project management duties (planning execution and monitoring) and improve on aspects in an effort to enhance client project delivery timelines and expectations.
  • Conduct research and analysis on various social impact topics, including behavioral science, financial inclusion, digital connectivity, economic empowerment, and impact measurement.
  • Design and implement client facing surveys and procure analysis of said survey for further analysis related to project deliverable.
  • Conduct interviews and synthesize data as it relates to understanding client needs and positioning.
  • Assist in the preparation of client presentations, reports, and deliverables, showcasing GRID Impact's unique approach and insights.
  • Participate in client meetings and workshops, actively contributing to discussions and providing valuable input based on your expertise.


Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing (or recently graduated with) an MBA degree from a top-tier university.
  • Expertise in working with Google products and associated collaboration tools (Sheets, Docs, Slides, etc.)
  • Experience in using Miro for digital whiteboarding, brainstorming, and collaborative visual communication.
  • Experience in using Monday.com for internal collaboration and communication on project deadlines and deliverables.
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proficient in conducting research and analysis, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear and concise insights.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate ideas effectively and engage with clients and colleagues.


Nice-to-have:

  • Prior experience in a management consulting firm or similar environment is highly desirable.
  • Passionate about social impact, with a strong desire to contribute to positive change
  • Self- motivated to lead change within a broader organization as well as lead change regarding specific client deliverables.


Hourly compensation during the internship: $25-$30

Internship duration: 12-14 weeks
