Operations Manager

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an Operations Manager near Alpharetta, GA. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing company specializing in stairs, cabinets, or doors. Must have experience overseeing the warehousing, production, and outside technical teams. Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the manufacturing facility, including warehousing, production, and coordination with outside technicians.
• Ensure efficient production scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow management to meet production targets and customer demand.
• Implement and maintain quality control measures to uphold product standards and meet customer expectations.
• Develop and implement process improvements to optimize efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance productivity.
• Lead and mentor a team of production staff and outside technicians, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address production challenges, resolve issues, and drive strategic initiatives.
• Utilize SAP or ORACLE systems to manage inventory, track production metrics, and optimize resource utilization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in the stairs, cabinets, or doors industry.
• Strong knowledge of residential construction processes and industry standards.
• Proven leadership experience, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate teams to achieve operational excellence.
• Experience with SAP or ORACLE systems for inventory management and production planning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
