Sales and Operations Manager

Location: Georgia

Salary: $85k


This position is responsible for the overall operation of a Branch/Insurance Office and all its activities, including the delivery of Automotive, Travel, Travel Agency, and Sales Insurance services/products. Reporting to the Regional Manager, the Branch/Insurance Manager is accountable for achieving both quantitative and qualitative requirements by managing sales and service activities of the assigned team. The manager executes business plan actions to ensure the achievement of office goals, including service delivery, service quality, service recovery, revenue growth, productivity, and cost control.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the overall operation of the Branch/Insurance Office, ensuring all activities align with company standards and objectives.
  • Achieve performance objectives as indicated in the company’s Performance Scorecard, meeting sales and member service goals.
  • Oversee travel and insurance operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Develop and manage a high-performing team, providing guidance, direction, and coaching to staff members.
  • Ensure understanding and compliance with standardized sales techniques and conduct associated training.
  • Collaborate with other leadership positions in the office to achieve goals.
  • Represent the company’s activities, image, and reputation in the local community.

Education:

  • BA/BS or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

Experience:

  • 5 – 7 years of progressive experience in Branch Operations and/or successful P&C sales experience.
  • Prior supervisory/managerial experience preferred.

Knowledge / Skills / Competencies:

  • Advanced leadership and managerial skills.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and assignments effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of various operating areas, products, and services offered by the organization, as well as Branch/Sales Office operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Moderate Internet/Intranet experience.
  • Competitive and persistent nature desired.
  • Familiarity with various company systems, including but not limited to POS, BDGT, PSAR, STAT, APOLLO, and VIEWPOINT preferred.
