Operations Manager

The Operations Manager is accountable for the revenue, gross profit and operating profit performance of the location. This person will lead a small team, with the authority and responsibility to resolve all issues location-wide affecting sales, gross profit, operating profit, customer relationships, supplier relationships, organizational development and employee satisfaction.

Pay Rate: 70,000 - 85,000 annually DOE

Major Areas of Responsibility:

• Develop & implement plans to achieve sales growth; gross profit; operating profit targets
• Manage expenses and identify & exploit opportunities to improve efficiency and error-free operations
• Provide leadership, focus & discipline to ensure organizational alignment & effectiveness
• Manage working capital for inventory and accounts receivables to achieve turnover goals
• Improve customer satisfaction and lead the complaint resolution and order fulfillment processes
• Foster and lead teamwork and cohesiveness
• Assist customers in-person, over the phone and via email
• Stay current on product knowledge
  
  

Skills/Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) preferred
• 7+ years sales experience in a customer facing role
• 5+ years of experience leading, developing, and directing field based sales teams
• Demonstrated sales performance and sales leadership skills; track record of developing sales talent
• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written skills
• Strong leadership, planning and organization, and problem solving and decision making skills
• Strong selling, relationship building, communication, teamwork and consultation skills
• Demonstrated personal adaptability and the ability to drive change
• Strong results orientation
• Valid driver’s license
