FULL DESCRIPTION:

Operations Manager Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize manufacturing processes, improve efficiency, and meet production targets.

Provide leadership and direction to the inventory, production, and quality teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Oversee inventory control processes, including ordering, receiving, storage, and distribution of materials and finished goods.

Develop production schedules and ensure timely execution to meet customer demand while minimizing inventory levels and production costs.

Establish and maintain quality control standards and procedures to ensure the highest level of product quality and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and productivity improvement, implementing initiatives to drive operational excellence.

Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and components at the required quality standards.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment for all employees.

Own successful execution and delivery of assigned projects for the organization in a variety of assignments.

Solve problems and provide updates to upper management.

Manage performance by coaching, counseling, training and developing employee skills while enhancing your own.

Assist with the tracking of internal and external defects and provide coaching accordingly.

Performs related duties as required.

Participate in special project work, such as (but not limited to) sales trend analysis, product testing, quality assurance, lean and continuous improvements.

Work closely with individuals with disabilities, adapting communication and management styles as necessary to accommodate their needs and foster an inclusive work environment.

Operations Manager Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing operations management, preferably in a similar industry.

Proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams and driving operational excellence.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships at all levels of the organization.

Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.

Well-developed time management and multitasking skills.

Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point), Adobe Acrobat, especially excel.

Basic knowledge of mathematics.

Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management system standard

Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

Experience with ERP systems and inventory management software.

Proficiency with Therefore, Monday, and Fishbowl Inventory Software preferred

Bilingual in English and Spanish, or Vietnamese.

SALARY: $33.65-$52.88 per hour DOE
