Operations Intern

MSI has a robust Operations Department that is hiring an intern to provide support on a variety of different avenues. Internships allow for a maximum commitment of 35 hours per week with a flexible schedule and is presently remote. This is a paid position, and we anticipate the candidate starting soonest after presenting an offer.

Responsibilities
- Review and improve the department’s various internal systems.
- Help coordinate and organize events and activities, such as meetings and tasks.
- Edit and format reports.
- Apply project management skills such as start-up and/or close-out, financial management, and other related processes.
- Develop working knowledge in project management skills and processes.
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree required, preferably in international development, business, or management.
- Minimum of one year of relative experience preferred.
- Professional demeanor and communication skills, especially via email and by phone.
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize within a multi-tasking environment.
- Strong presentation, event coordinating, and marketing skills preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and OneNote required.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal, required. Second language skills are preferred.
