Operations Escrow Manager
Summary of Functions:
The role of the Vice President, Operations Manager is to manage the day-to-day operations for RealSafe Title. The Vice President, Operations Manager is responsible for recruiting new staff, training existing staff and maintaining office morale. The Vice President, Operations Manager works side by side with the Sales Team. This position engages in many departments and must pay close attention to the overall profit and loss for the operations, cost reductions, efficiency workflows, compliance and security/safety all in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintains compliance with both Anywhere Real Estate and Surety Family of Companies policies and procedures in accordance with governing laws, regulations, regulatory agencies and company standards. Demonstrates on a consistent basis individual, team and department behavior that supports the culture of Anywhere Real Estate and Surety Family of Companies.
- Oversees all RealSafe Title operational employees.
- Recruits, selects and retains all employees.
- Ensures compliance with operations standards identified in the ALTA Best Practice Policy and Procedures, ALTA Best Practice Training Guides, Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions and Surety Dashboard Reports. Implements any corrective measures identified by audits within 30 days
- Drive compliance with all policies and/or regulations, demonstrating personal leadership and accountability in this regard
- Ensures that all employees comply with state and federal policies, procedures, and accounting requirements
- Effectively creates and implements business and customer service plans to meet company objectives
- Creates additional revenue streams for the company through proper hiring, training, and development of staff
- Manages all areas of staffing, hiring, and firing, including performance appraisals, staff meetings, and trainings.
- Responsible for continually coaching employees in effective techniques and providing the leadership support needed to succeed.
- Makes proper decisions regarding the implementation and timing of cost-cutting measures to meet company profit objectives
- Oversees facilities and space management
- Possesses knowledge in all areas of escrow and title operations
- Improves all facets of operations to attain corporate objectives
- Conducts self in a manner of professional integrity (e.g., with regard to self, subordinates, direct supervisors, and local businesses)
- Successfully implements company policies and guidelines to advance the company
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
- Adheres to company policies and guidelines
Supervisory Responsibilities
The Vice President, Operations Manager has direct oversight responsibility for all RealSafe Title operational employees.

Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in title and settlement management required.
- New Jersey Title License
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office; a fax machine; a copier/scanning machine; and a multi-line telephone.
