About the Role: The Operations Coordinator is responsible for the entire inbound process, including communicating to impacted employees and departments. In addition, the Operations Coordinator helps drive compliance with established Health and Safety policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
Tracks all inbound customers returns and interbranch transfers
Creates return document from return list and scans to sales reps and provide signed copy from driver
Provides work directions to assigned Yard Lead and modifies it accordingly
Works directly with the Yard Manager to address personnel issues as they arise
Sends return documents, damage reports, and updated site balances to customers and Sales Representatives
Prints pick tickets and enters data
Verifies all freight bookings on the freight log
Oversees receiving audit
Accountable for re-rent management
Records time-in and time-out for trucks in the freight log
Responsible for the receiving department’s key performance indicators
Downloads pictures daily and files them by customer by date by project
Supports health and safety initiatives and ensures compliance
Audits and works with peers to modify Operations Department processes and procedures
Prints open return report weekly and
Escalates any returns older than 3 days or urgent issues to Operations Manager
Communicates and schedules daily projects
Escalates issues to Operations Manager as necessary
