Operations Coordinator
PBF Energy Inc. (NYSE:PBF), one of the largest independent refiners in North America, operating through its subsidiaries, oil refineries and related facilities. We are seeking a talented Operations Coordinator to join our team as a pivotal member that would play a key role here at PBF Energy. This role is located at Vernon, CA.
Job Summary
Coordinates day to day activities for the Vernon Regional Distribution Center Operation departments. Works directly within the Global Management System (GWM) within SAP platform to direct warehouse operations. Provides functional support to the Bulk Supervisor with daily scheduling/communications of operation activities.

Job Summary

Principle Responsibilities
- Ensures compliance with all local, state and federal regulatory standards for employee health, safety and environmental requirements through the execution of all safety programs.
- Works with the Warehouse Operations Supervisor and the Bulk Operations Supervisor to ensure optimal plant inventory levels and use of facility storage and accuracy of inventory management documentation.
- Adheres to and ensures compliance with Controls, including compliance with Data Integrity Assurance Framework through policy communications, procedures, and, as applicable, holding employees and contractors accountable.
- Coordinates the daily activities for Warehouse & Bulk Operations to meet the safety, production, quality, and customer service requirements.
- Monitors inventory shortages for bulk and package materials via Proactive.
- Direct Warehouse Operators on what loads to process for inbound and outbound orders.
- Prints associated paperwork BOL’s, PFSN, & Delivery notes as needed for warehouse & bulk operations
- Works with Warehouse Supervisor to develop/plan the optimization of warehouse space and manpower to satisfy operational requirements.
- Coordinates all GWM activities and provides GWM error resolution.
- Works with Ryder Online and the Transportation group for processing of schedules.
- Involvement in LPS tools including LPO’s & NLI reporting.
- Provide improvement opportunities of warehouse operations to Warehouse Supervisor.
- Acts as vacation relief for the Operations Supervisor (Warehouse & Bulk).
Education and Skills:
- High school diploma required
- Minimum 3 years warehouse position experience
- High level of computer skills required (Microsoft Office)
- Requires knowledge of including prior working experience of SAP and or GWM
- Accounting/Inventory Management
- Must be able to effectively interface with wide variety of people both internal and external to the company including providing customer service/response
- Must be independent thinker with the ability to make sound, logical decisions that result in proper planning execution
- Product Integrity consciousness
- Good organizational skills, including proven analytical and judgment skills
