The Operations Analyst will be responsible for partnering with each of our Operations Managers to create processes and automation across logistics, wholesale operations, supply chain, and procurement as we scale. Our ideal candidate is data-driven, interested in getting a wide range of experience across the Operations department, and excited about documenting, iterating, and (when possible) automating processes. You’ll be successful in this role by being obsessively detail-oriented and an effective communicator that can bridge our backend processes with internal and external partners. This role is a temporary assignment, lasting about 6 months.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Assist Senior Logistics Manager in tracking open to buy volumes and invoice expectations on sea freight containers
Track container movement within the booking portal, ensuring steady movement and maintain visibility of all inbound Purchase Orders
Monitor supplier compliance for on-time booking, vessel consolidation, and 100% accuracy on compliance documentation
Explore new ways of working to improve operational efficiencies in Logistics processes
Partner with Accounting team to maintain payment schedules to mitigate any delays and or unnecessary fees
Track and record receipt discrepancies within 3PL WMS
Provide backup support for processing of EDI wholesale orders with brokers and retailers
Support Retail Operations team with analysis of retailer inventory pipeline to ensure no gaps in DC and in-store supply
Understand dock capacities at each warehouse for optimal scheduling of inbound deliveries based on their forecasted outbound volume and schedule.
Partner with Data team to build and monitor robust Tableau reporting for Operations
WHAT YOU BRING
2+ years of experience in Operations
An entrepreneurial spirit and an exceptional problem solver
Experience with logistics carrier networks
Strong attention to detail and confidence to speak up if you identify an existing or potential issue
Proficient in Microsoft Office and G Suite
Ability to thrive and effectively drive results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Experience with SPS Commerce or similar EDI providers a plus
JOB DETAILS
This is a temporary position, estimated for about 5-6 months
The salary range for this role is $65,000 - $80,000 (depending on experience)
