We are looking for an Operations Analyst to assist in streamlining our Logistics and Warehouse operations! The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional with a passion for the job. The ideal candidate will be a skilled analyst in warehouse and supply chain processes, with the understanding of how to set-up key reporting to ensure proper warehouse fulfillment as it pertains to order flow, labor output, equipment needs, and help reduce costs by identifying inefficiencies in packaging spend, inbound/outbound freight costs, etc.


Job Overview

This is an individual contributor role that will assist in project management and analyzing our KPI’s related to warehouse, inbound/outbound shipping, and other related functional areas. This will help the company identify and execute cost-improvement and efficiency measures. The preferred candidate will be persuasive and able to navigate internal and external stakeholders to drive success, in terms of data collection and project execution.


Requirements

· Manage reports in regards to outbound shipping for our large key accounts

  • This would include analyzing shipping costs, on-time shipment data, carrier performance, carrier damage rates, etc.

· Assign priority levels to special projects needing warehouse labor across multiple departments including Customer Service, Design, and Marketing

· Perform inventory analysis including warehouse capacity and SKU velocity and propose layout stocking changes if necessary

· Lead cross-functional projects relating to supply chain and distribution and ensure all parties stay focused and complete tasks on-time

· Important to be a company “influencer” to get the job done

· Report on key warehouse metrics, including:

· Returns processing

· Pick/Pack performance (individual user and overall team)

· Operating costs (shipping, packaging materials, etc.)

· Split shipment reporting

· Assist with process improvement as it relates to our ERP/WMS (Sage X3) and TMS (Process

· Weaver)

Requirements

  • 2+ years of relevant warehouse experience (shipping, supply chain, or general distribution)
  • Extensive Excel knowledge and practical usage
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams across warehouse, accounting, and customer service
  • groups
  • Strong leadership and collaboration capabilities
  • Excellent ability to understand and utilize warehouse systems and technology
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred or equivalent experience
  • Project management experience (PMP/CAPM, Six Sigma, Lean, etc.)
  • WMS knowledge
  • Warehouse operations knowledge

· The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

· Ability to work in open environment with fluctuating temperatures and standard lighting.

· Ability to work on computer and mobile phone for multiple hours; with frequent interruptions.

· Required to use stairwells to attend meetings and engage with employees on multiple floors throughout building.

Starting base pay: $24.00-$29.00/hr Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
