About The Company

Our client is an alternative asset management firm that focuses on investment opportunities in specialized credit covering US and European markets with $5.5 billion in AUM. They are seeking an Operations Analyst to assist with the controls and process management for its managed funds.

Responsibilities

  • Perform cash and position reconciliations for the firm’s managed funds and work with counterparties, prime brokers, and fund administrators to resolve breaks in a timely manner
  • Review, confirm, and initiate settlement for collateral calls with client relationships
  • Confirm trade allocations for cash and derivative trades with brokers and counterparties
  • Confirm activity and book all repurchase agreements in Europe
  • Work alongside team members to assist during the year-end audit process as well as aid in any month end tasks as required
  • Generate various periodic reports

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or economics
  • 2-3 years of experience in a credit hedge fund or in banking
  • Understanding of various investment products
  • Working knowledge of Advent Geneva preferred
  • Experience with derivative clearing systems preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

Salary Range

$90,000-$100,000
