Our sole objective has been to increase the effectiveness and safety of IV treatment for more than thirty years. We establish connections between patients and caregivers through safe, life-saving, and life-improving IV treatment systems, software, solutions, and consumables. After finalizing a couple of acquisitions over five years ago, we became the only business to concentrate completely on IV therapy across the whole spectrum of medical care.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Operational Excellence (OPEX) Lead/Manager to join our dynamic and fast-paced team for our facility in Austin, a fully functional pharmaceutical production facility for sterile injectables. The chosen candidate will be a part of the Operational Excellence team, leading, managing, and supporting the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives within the company. The successful candidate should have a solid background in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and hold a Green or Black Belt. Previous experience in pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or cGMP regulated environments is preferred!

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and implement strategies to achieve Operational Excellence within the company
• Lead and manage the development and implementation of projects that support continuous improvement initiatives
• Develop and coordinate the necessary training for employees to support continuous improvement initiatives
• Monitor and evaluate processes to identify opportunities for improvement
• Analyze and report on project results, with recommendations for process improvements
• Coach and mentor team members on the use of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
• Provide guidance on process improvement and best practices to other teams, stakeholders, and customers
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM or a related discipline
• Must hold a Six Sigma Green or Black Belt (preferred) certification
• Minimum of 3 years of experience leading, creating and implementing CI or OPEX programs in a cGMP environment (ideally pharmaceuticals)
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage projects effectively
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
