We're on the lookout for a dynamic and committed Spanish Teacher to join our team. As a Spanish Teacher, you'll play a crucial role in fostering a vibrant and supportive learning environment, guiding students in their language proficiency and cultural appreciation journey. This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities
Craft and implement engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and ignite student interest
Cultivate Spanish language proficiency across speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills
Infuse cultural activities and resources to deepen students' grasp of the Spanish-speaking world
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their learning journey
Collaborate with fellow educators to develop teaching materials and exchange effective strategies
Offer personalized support to students requiring additional assistance or enrichment
Maintain meticulous records of attendance, grades, and assessments
Skills
Profound understanding of Spanish language and grammar
Proficiency in tailoring Spanish instruction to diverse student proficiency levels
Exceptional communication skills and ability to connect with students
Familiarity with educational technology tools for language learning
Knowledge of various learning styles and differentiated instruction methods
Ability to cultivate an inclusive and supportive classroom atmosphere
Strong organizational aptitude for effective lesson planning, grading, and record-keeping
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Spanish or related field (Master's degree preferred)
Teaching certification or licensure in Spanish education
Prior experience teaching Spanish at middle or high school levels (including student teaching)
Familiarity with special education strategies for diverse learners
