About Us
Our terms run for five weeks, providing an ideal platform for faculty to share their industry insights and help students attain their learning objectives. Candidates should be available during evenings and weekends to accommodate our diverse adult learner population.
Qualifications
Education:
Master's degree in Humanities or a related field, with 18 graduate-level credits in relevant coursework (e.g., American Studies, Anthropology, Classics, Communication and Media Studies, Cultural Studies, Fine Arts, Literature, History, Philosophy, Comparative Religion, Visual and Performing Arts, Western/Eastern Civilization).
Experience
Preferably 3-5 years of industry experience.
2 years of online teaching/curriculum experience is advantageous, along with strong online webinar presentation skills.
Familiarity with Canvas LMS is preferred.
Required Skills
Demonstrated integrity in all interactions.
Ability to establish meaningful connections with students through strong interpersonal skills, including approachability and empathy.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Adaptability to the fast-paced, 5-week accelerated course format.
Comfortable serving as the initial point of contact to address software or technical concerns for students.
Online Faculty Technical Requirements
Reliable high-speed internet connection.
Personal Windows-based computer and webcam.
Meeting the minimum system requirements.
Availability to conduct one live session weekly via Zoom.
